The blog post that started it all.

A (wannabe) bloggers quest.

You know when you have this idea, this future dream, and you're like hmm I want to do that. But you let it sit on the back burner because you don't know when it'll happen or how it'll happen or what will it be like? And then one day someone says to you "you should have a blog" and then you're all "OK" because that's your dream to join the amazing world of the blogosphere. Then they send you some ideas on how to start or who makes beautiful ones. Because there is no way you're going to start with a mediocre looking blog when your dream is like a blog straight out of "the nesting place" book.

You know, aesthetically pleasing, beautiful, witty, and imperfectly perfect.

Actually, I don't know much about logistics of blogging and if I AM even allowed to say "the nesting place" without citing it (you know like in English high school class.) So anyway, months go by and you're still crazy busy in your own life. You've got your 3 jobs, 2 kids, a husband, a neglected house, and then you decide to sell the most amazing mascara on earth. ( because your friends just HAVE to know about it because if you don't sell it they may never know and then their life would be shitty because of you. Because you didn't tell them they could have long beautiful lashes. I digress- I will do that a lot, go on a tangent and then have to backtrack. See, there I go again... on my own, going down the only road...see there again I did it.

Where were we? Blog, back burner, blog stalking, busy life...You're getting coffee and your friend/barista/friggin coffee angel lifesaver says "you should HAVE a blog". And you get goosebumps, and excited, and kinda want to throw up because that's the second person who has said that and just may mean it! So you go about your busy day (coffee in hand always) thinking about how are you going to DO this. What would I talk about? Who wants to blog stalk me? but then you're all "what, I AM hilarious, informative, and perfectly imperfect" maybe I CAN do this. So now that leaves me with Do you think Myquillyn Smith of The Nesting Place would ever know she was my visual inspiration!

Timing is everything. This is JOY don't let fear stop you

Remember "it doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful" or in this case "it doesn't have to be perfect to start"
