Finding my Zen.
If you need me, I’ll be at the spa.
Seriously, have you been to Skin Care Suites Spa in Port Angeles? If you haven’t, ask yourself the following questions….Do I need to relax? Do I need to be pampered? Do I need to walk around in a big white fluffy bathrobe because clothes are overrated?
If you didn’t answer yes to all of these questions then I suggest you reevaluate your life... or I need to come see how you live…maybe it is at the spa.
Imagine a place where you can go that settles your mind and your heart as soon as you walk though the large glass doors. Calming music plays in the background while you walk calmly to the front desk. Massage chairs greet you, succulents and florals are placed lovingly around. Big open spaces let your mind wonder into a sea of nothingness. I kid you not- I have raced to my appointment, frazzled by kids, nervous to be late, guilt ridden with a to do list- should I really be going to the spa? Only to walk in and instantly have my thoughts melt away and replaced by- I needed this. When do I ever get to have me time?
From manis/pedis, massages, and waxes to facial treatments, makeup, and more, you really can’t go wrong. Can’t decide? Purchase a package that mixes several different treatments for a day of bliss. The steam room is my favorite. Can I have a steam everyday? Eucalyptus oil surrounds you and the mix of heat and moisture is perfect. I’ve been to steams that were too hot I couldn’t breath. I could easily spend an hour relaxing here. The steam room feels like a rainforest retreat where goddesses gather.
Speaking of goddesses.
I am pretty sure Jodi (owner) has a past life in temples or was at least a Madame. I mean this in the highest respect. Her employees are kind and accommodating. You are escorted to each treatment room. You feel like a goddess the entire time. It’s quiet. It’s luxurious. It’s in our own home town! I highly suggest you start requesting visits to the spa for Christmas, birthday, Mother’s Day! I recently decided I AM doing a weekly steam (just a 20 or 30 minute visit) for my own personal self love journey. More about that on the blog later. Feeling the need to end this post with*namaste*
